The Part of Mary Ashe in the Doctor Who episode Colony in Space was Helen Worth's first TV role. She only had three other minor roles before being cast as Gail Potter - later Tilsley and Platt - in Coronation Street and went on to do over 400 episodes of that, her only TV role to date.
