Janet Fielding had not done very much acting prior to her role as Tegan Jovanka in Doctor Who, and has done even less of it since. After divorcing husband, Nick Davies, a Daily Mirror journalist she became a Theatrical agent, actually representing Paul McGann when he was chosen as the Eighth Doctor. She takes part in Big Finish Audio stories from time to time but has more or less quit acting and is currently head of finance for a major charity organization.
