John Challis played the key role of Scorby in the Tom Baker classic, Seeds of Doom. He later had a brief spell in Howard’s Way, and the significant role of Victor Travussini in the wartime drama Wish Me Luck. But it was as Boycie, drinking buddy of Del Boy Trotter in Only Fools and Horses that he became a familiar face. Later, Boycie and wife had their own spin off, Green, Green Grass.
