Leslie Grantham was mostly a bit part actor in various TV series when he played the role of Kiston, a henchman of Mr Lytton in the Sixth Doctor episode Ressurection of The Daleks. Soon after that role, though, he was cast as Den Watts in Eastenders, his most iconic role. After his first stint in Eastenders he played Danny Kane, a London night club owner in Paradise Club and most recently was a character called Jimmy Smith in The Bill.
