Peter Davison is proof positive that there is no jinx on actors who had played The Doctor. He has had a busy and varied career, including lead roles in several TV series. Apart from returning to his first big hit, All Creatures Great and Small to continue the story of Tristan Farnham, he was also in the detective series, Campion, Medical comedy, A Very Peculiar Practice, family drama At Home With The Braithwaites, rural comedy, Distant Shores, and detective again as The Last Detective, as well as continuing to support various Doctor Who related events.
