He still claims to be from a planet called Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborus. Though according to the New Beginnings box set interviews he is currently living in semi-retirement in the south of France with his third wife. Since he left Doctor Who he played various roles in TV. He is a regular voice on commercials. The generation who grew up trusting him as The Doctor still trust his voice telling them to buy Duracell batteries among other things. His most recent ‘proper’ job of course was as the narrator in Little Britain and previous to that he was Donald Donaldson of Monarch of the Glen. But he will ALWAYS be The Doctor for a whole
generation.
