Tony Caunter was an established British TV actor from the 1960s, starring in top serials such as Z Cars, Softly Softly and Juliet Bravo as well as three roles in Doctor Who in 1964, 1971 and 1983. He maintains the Eastenders/Doctor Who connection with his long running role as Roy Evans.
